MODEL 7440... |
The 7440 converter, like the 7430,
was brought to market in order to replace the low amperage versions of
the older 3200 Series of linear technology converters, specifically the
once very popular Model 3240. The 7440 used a standard 7400 series
chassis and components and was set to operate at 40 amps providing for a
reliable 40 amp replacement for the older technology units that may fail
after years of service, as well as an electronic switchmode converter
for new, low amperage applications. For 3200 Series upgrades, it is
often necessary to add a stand alone fuseblock such as our model FB9. |
