This product line is one of the first high frequency switch mode product lines developed for the RV converter marketplace by any company. It was based on power supply designs created for the tele-communications industry, and proved to be a reliable and readily accepted converter to replace the dated transformer based converters systems which were much more noisy, heavier, lacked filtering, stability and regulation. The introduction of clean filtered output of switching converter systems has changed RVs by allowing the development and use of other products that required clean and stable DC voltage supplies. The 7400 series comes with a 120V 15A line cord (20A for 7465) for incoming power, and features outputs ranging from 30ADC to 65ADC, there is also a 24VDC output unit available. Taking what we learned from the 7400 series over many years of production, Parallax has developed the 4400 series! These products use the same proven technology that the 7400 Series was based on. During the design of the 4400 Series Parallax engineers made changes to circuitry to address the highest failure modes of the 7400 units, in addition the 4400 series is the first group of products to include the ability to have upgrades and accessories installed in the field. Of the upgrades currently under development, the TempAssure temperature compensation module is the first one available.

The 5400 Series offers a completely new design from Parallax Power Supply! These units include active power factor correction(PFC) technology, PFC in short, optimizes the phase relation between voltage and current resulting in better efficiency, in addition to less component stress and increased longevity. The 5400 Series also supports the upgradeability options of the 4400 Series that are standard in all ParaMode converter systems.

Our super compact 300 series uses surface mount components along with creative engineering to produce units that are approximately 5" inches in all dimensions. Designed for the the truck and tent camper markets, the 300 series will also fit in many applications where significant power in a small package is required!
